Lead Engineer System Engineering

System Engineering is the group within the subsea business area which has the overall responsibility for complete subsea system development contracts. The group has the responsibility for technical coordination between the different product groups within the company to ensure complete system deliveries. Personnel within the system group will therefore need to be technologically skilled within different relevant technologies and product areas. The system group is involved during all the different phases of a project, through early phase conceptual studies, through tender periods and during detail engineering, fabrication and testing of the system and to a certain extent during the installation and operations phase of the project.

We have an open position as a:

Lead Engineer System Engineering

Work Tasks and areas of responsibility:

* Concept design, system design, detail design, calculations and preparations of drawings, equipment lists, etc.

* Establish P& ID and Flow diagrams

* Interface management

* Establish and perform project safety studies / analyses

* Establish operational- and user manuals

* Participate in tender work

* Participate in study and concept activities

Education and Experience:

* Minimum 5 years engineering experience from subsea projects

* Solid background from engineering, design, construction, fabrication and operation of subsea or offshore oil & gas production systems

* Testing and operational experience

* Ability to demonstrate initiative and assertiveness, ability to plan and organize work in an efficient manner

* Degree in Engineering (MSc/BSc), preferably Mechanical-, Marine-, Control- or Cybernetics engineering

* Strong communications skills, both verbal and written

* Good personal motivation and actively seek new challenges
