Safir Freelance is looking an EBS consultant for a project of approximately 1 year in Bergen/Mons.
Job Description
As Functional Application Analyst, you shall perform tasks associated with both the role of application specialist and the role of business analyst within the context of an implementation project of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) applications.
* Provide knowledge and guidance regarding application functionality
* Support and provide interpretation for tools, templates and methods
* Be familiar with the business area that the system covers and the terminology and practices
* Perform activities in support of the correct definition and management of the functional scope of the project
* Examine the ACO’s business and define what the system should do
* Obtain information from existing documentation, when available, to define and validate system requirements
* Identify interviewees who might be representative ACO staff, management, and technical support staff
* Obtain information by conducting interviews, working sessions, and site visits. These analysis activities determine the technical, interfacing, and operational requirements and constraints.
* Understand the business objectives and requirements in order to document the analysis
* Create the business models and business requirement scenarios, gathers and translates business functionality into object models, and models the requirements at the subsystem level, creating the most appropriate analysis model level
* Conduct reviews of the findings with ACO management and the staff
* Support ACO during project management team meetings, testing, and requirement definition workshops
* Translate business models and policies into detailed standard operating procedures
* Develop plans and procedures for data conversion and migration activities
* Support ACO in the review of contract deliverables and system documentation
Qualifications
Experience
The incumbent should have the following experience:
· Implementation of purchasing, cash management, general ledger, AP, AR, Inventory, and Fixed Assets components of Oracle EBS 11i
· Implementation of Oracle EBS 11i in international organisations and government organisations
· Preparation and execution of data conversion projects for Oracle EBS
· Relevant previous experience as Oracle EBS applications specialist
· Significant past experience as business analyst for the implementation of Oracle EBS
· Experience in the implementation of IPSAS
· Experience in the development and use of UML models
Skills and Education
* Formal training in Oracle EBS applications 11i
* Formal training in requirements definition and modelling
* Excellent writing and presentation skills
* Deep knowledge of Oracle EBS applications 11i
