Discipline Lead Piping

We provide multidiscipline engineering and project management services and have around 450 consultants contracted to our customers. We cover the entire Nordic market, with 10 regional offices in Norway as well as partners in Sweden and Denmark.

Scope of work

Establish the Piping scope and perform Piping work in Pre-Engineering, Detail Engineering and As-Built phase.

- Be responsible for all Piping work in Project

- Follow up Piping people in Project

- Follow up Piping Prefab and Offshore Installation work

- Follow up Piping progress

- Perform offshore survey as required

- Perform Discipline Interface activities

- Perform Piping Project meetings

- Contribute to the training of junior personnel

Qualifications

Technical college education

Piping Discipline Lead experience

- 10-15 years of experience, preferably within offshore modification work in Norway

- Piping Experience in Pre-Engineering, Detail Engineering, Prefab and Installation Follow-on and As-Built phase.

- Establishing of Piping Scope of work, CTRs and Piping estimate in Studies and Pre-Engineering

- Piping Design, Pipe Support Design and Piping Stress Analysis

- Preparation of workpacks

- Experience from Offshore platform

- Offshore survey

- PDMS knowledge

- Familiar with 2D Microstation

- Knowledge of Ptil requirements, PED and Norsok standards

- ASME B31.3 knowledge

- Knowledge of ConocoPhillips technical requirements

Experience not mandatory but preferable:

- Knowledge of Lotus Notes, SAP and ProArc

- Knowledge of technical data-systems used in GEM.

- Perform Piping Workpackages (Norwegian language, - not mandatory requirement)

- PDS knowledge

High degree of self learning skills

- Familiar with coaching and having educational skills

- Good communication

- Excellent Norwegian and English writing and speaking skills

- Basic Safety Training Course
