Those teams, composed with experts in Stat reporting, Corporate Income Tax, VAT, Indirect Taxes, US reporting and IFRS standards. Their reputation inside GE is now strongly established, and they are increasing their scope of services to the GE businesses, and developing their areas of expertise. They now have the strongest support from the whole GE finance communities, such as controllers of businesses, Tax group in Europe and in the US, and GE Auditors.

Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities

* Consolidate a number of operational ledgers for the different GE Energy Legal Entities in the Nordic countries.

* Ensure compliance with local law, tax code, government regulations and filing requirements for the legal entities.

* Prepare and file annual tax and statutory reports for GE Energy Norway and other Norwegian entities.

* To be responsible for Account Reconciliations process – Preparation of timely and defect-free account reconciliations.

* Be responsible for accurate and timely management reporting towards the different project/ledgers and prepare monthly reports to Managing Director as well as quarterly board meetings.

* Reconciliation, reporting and settlement of VAT for 3-4 legal entities.

* Regular Finance calls with various Finance team for different management entities.

* Work with Project leaders to maintain project progress.

* Ad hoc administration/finance work and projects

* Participate in controllership efforts and internal audit projects

* Support annual tax and statutory reporting filing in all Nordic countries

Qualifications/Requirements

* Finance / Accounting degree * 5-10 years experience * Experience in general accounting* Norwegian Tax and STAT filing experience * The candidate will have a strong analytical background, first class communication and influencing skills and the all-around business understanding * Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams* IFRS/ US GAAP / GE-accounting knowledge will be a plus * Very good computer skills * Must be fluent in English and preferable at least one Scandinavian language * Pro-active attitude * Strong interpersonal and communication skills
